Monthly Test

  • This test is taken by the student every 4 weeks to check their English skills development. The test is given according to the level of the student.

Progress Report

  • The 1:1 teacher evaluates the students progress in class after every 4 weeks. A progress report meeting is done with the teacher and student, together with the Academics Coordinator to discuss about the students improvement in class.

Free Classes

  • The free class is for a one-month period only. There must be a minimum of 8 students to open a free class. A certificate is given to the student who has a perfect attendance. Announcements on free classes to be opened are posted on the bulletin board.

Wearing of Identification Cards

  • Identification Cards need to be worn by the students at all times within the school campus, students residence and cafeteria.

  • Students can keep their IDs after their program.

Class Rules

  • Students should go directly to their assigned classrooms for their classes.

  • If you are absent, inform your teacher or call the Academics Department at 495-9955 local 400.

  • If your teacher is absent, a substitute teacher will be waiting in your classroom.

  • Dont invite other students to join your class.

Classrooms/Computer Lab Rules

  • Food and drinks are not allowed.

  • Clean as you go.

  • No playing of internet games.

  • Use a headset if you need to listen to some activities.

  • No streaming as this may cause the slowing down of the internet connection.

  • Downloading of online games and viewing of pornographic materials are strictly prohibited.

  • No vandalism.

Attendance/Make-up Lesson Policy

  • Students should attend all classes and participate in activities unless there is a compelling reason. Attendance is monitored in every class by the teacher.

  • CELI will not provide any make-up lessons missed by students due to tardiness, absence or late arrival.

  • In cases when regular teachers are unable to attend scheduled classes, CELI reserves the right to assign substitute teachers to take over the classes.

  • If and when necessary, lessons missed due to a teachers absence will be rescheduled by CELI. If a student misses a make-up lesson, CELI is not required to reschedule the lesson.

  • Fees will not be refunded for Philippine public holidays. No refund will be given if you are late, absent or will leave early from class. No make up classes will be given for the two conditions stated above.

Important Reminders

  • All academic concerns should be addressed to the Academics Department. Look for Ms. Austria or Ms. Armie.

  • Types of requests are course extension, additional class, instruction hours, class swapping.

  • Get a request form and fill out the required information.

  • Submission of requests must be done from Monday to Wednesday only.

  • Request on class changes will be granted every Monday of the following week.

  • For additional classes/hours, state the mode of payment (Php, $, or credit card) and the number of weeks. CELI Finance will provide the student with a quotation outlining the price. Unless full payment is received, all requests are considered invalid.

  • First come, first served basis on teachers selection and class availability.

  • Downgrading is not permitted.

  • Graduation is on a Friday, 4:40 pm.

Other Policies

  • Take care of your personal belongings because CELI will not be liable for any loss or damage.

  • Strictly follow all the schedules in meals, laundry, classes, filing a request for change, and the like.

  • Students are expected to respect the school policy.

  • Students are expected to welcome the multi-cultural environment in Cleverlearn.
